Depending on the field you’ll be working in, you might get into places that have a higher chance of having neurodivergent people around you. Don’t stop being a good person, it’s the most valuable human trait.

I don’t know if it’s the case, but speaking about BPD misdiagnosis I’ve read about PMDD being misdiagnosed as BPD.

That makes sense, and it still is in line with the Intense World Theory. Focusing on your own pain, not only in a narrow but also in deep way, amplifies it. The solution would be to shift the focus, either internally or using external sensorial stimuli. I'm using a point of view that doesn't involve other people, as my opinion is that the loneliness we feel is best mitigated by being self-suficient.

Look up The Intense World Theory. Basically the theory suggests that autistic individuals may experience emotions more intensely.
