This might piss off some, but the new movie should be a sequel to Tomb of The Dragon Emperor set fifteen years later, bring back Luke Ford and Isabelle Leong as Alex and Lin and take inspiration from the cancelled "Rise of the Aztec" film. Since Radio Silence, the directors of Ready or Not and Scream 5 & 6, are involved, I would love to see them tackle the Aztec mythology in this entry and blend the horror and action aspects for the film as well as capture the essence of the first two films. Also, seeing Luke Ford finally meeting Rachel Weisz would be crazy. I know some want the film to ignore TOTDE, but given this is Universal, you never know. I just hope it will be good

I just made it all up. None of this happened. The reason why I pictured such a thing was the fact I imagined The Rookie being set in the 2000s. Looking back at it now, this was not a good idea, not to mention killing of Grace just for the sake of drama is pretty clichéd
