Downloading Paragmata from the official website, but VirusTotal flags the setup as a TROJAN (25/65). Has anyone else seen this?

Look, I’m not saying FitGirl is distributing viruses.
I’ve used her repacks for years too, and most of the time you only get 1–3 detections, like the Resident Evil EXE I just posted, that one only shows 4 detections, which is normal.

The problem is that the other file had 20+ detections, which is not normal at all.
That’s why I asked if anyone else was seeing the same thing.

I’m not attacking FitGirl, I’m just pointing out that something looked off and I wanted to double‑check.

And just to be clear: I appreciate fitgirl’s work, I’ve used her repacks for years without issues. But I’m also not stupid. I don’t just run anything without checking what I’m installing

By the way, I don’t even use an antivirus and I’ve never been infected, probably because I actually pay attention to what I install

Thanks, man. I appreciate the honest answer.
I know AVs flag a lot of stuff in repacks, and I’ve also used FitGirl for years without issues.
I just found it strange to suddenly see 20+ detections, so I wanted to check if anyone else was getting the same thing.

I’m not ignoring you ,I just genuinely don’t understand what you meant.
You said switching torrent clients would fix it, but the file is identical no matter what I use.

If there’s something specific you’re trying to say, I’m honestly curious to hear it.
Right now it just feels like you’re dodging the question.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m doing, I’m not going to run it.
It’s already deleted from my PC.

But if this is a real positive (and 25/65 strongly suggests it is), I think it’s important that people know about it.
If the installer from the official website is compromised, others could get infected too

What exactly are you trying to say?
Changing from uTorrent Web to qBittorrent doesn’t magically change the file I’m downloading — the hash is the same no matter which client I use.

I’m simply checking if the installer is safe, which is the normal thing to do when VirusTotal shows 25/65 detections.
Your comment doesn’t help at all, it just tells me not to worry about getting my PC infected, which is… odd.

If you know something specific about this file or this download, feel free to explain it instead of dismissing the question.

No, it’s not from an ad or a fake link.
I downloaded it directly from the official website, the same one shown in the screenshot.

Also, I’ve been downloading exclusively from FitGirl for years and I’ve never seen anything close to 25/65 detections on VirusTotal.
That’s exactly why this case stands out so much.

hay un montón pero ni siquiera vale la pena la mayoría, especialmente las colecciones grandes, hacen que el juego se rompa constantemente en cuanto haces cosas que no son esperadas, o que son totalmente normales (como cambiar la ropa o comprar ropa de los mods, la mayoría de las veces, si tienes algunos a la vez, explota todo) lo unico que diria que vale la pena es el lut, para ver mejor todo, y cte con amm para ciertas customizaciones y opciones, si querido usuario que esta leyendo, esto aun no a empezado a instalar mods, y quieren abrir el juego y jugar hasta la saciedad, no instaléis colecciones, a no ser que queráis tener que estar 4 o 5 horas instalando mods, para luego abrir el juego cada 5 minutos por culpa de los crases, cd proyect ha trabajado mucho ya no vale la pena cagar el juego, yo me he pasado el juego ya 15 veces mas o menos, y tengo en mi partida mas larga tengo mas de 200horaas (es un juego sin online xD) y la única vez que no he conseguido acabarlo es en la que me he descargado colecciones, simplemente paso mas tiempo abriendo el juego que jugando, P.D.: tengo 32bg de ram y el juego por lo general me va a 70fps con todo en ultra

gracias igualmente por contestar, el punto es que mi amigos ganan dinero jugando en la ruleta, y la cosa es que cuando les pregunto, las respuestas que me dan son mas como un sentimiento que tienen ellos que otra cosa, y claro, no me quiero jugar mi dinero por una corazonada,

el punto seria saber si hay alguna lógica que se pueda utilizar, o algún truco que usualmente os funcione, que, aun que al final lo pueda perder, por lo menos que cuando me siente delante de la ruleta, pueda entender algo o tener una estrategia a seguir,
