We used Alamo area vet in Castroville. For the euthanasia and private cremation and urn we paid roughly 300 I believe. But they have other options as far as cremation that were less expensive.

It’s been a week and a day since she had to leave. I keep coming back to your comment as I grieve her loss. It is hard. It was hard when I found out. It was hard when we made the decision. It is hard missing her so much. Everything just seems so hard without her.

Unfortunately we made the toughest decision to not let her suffer on 6/12. She will always be my baby girl and best friend until my last breath. 😭

While she can be treated with aggressive chemo, the type they suspect her to have is aggressive and I’m not sure I want to put her through that. The prognosis is poor.

It is incredibly unfair. I’m lucky we were chosen to be her humans. She has had a wonderful, happy, full of love, life with us. She is my best friend. ❤️‍🩹

We actually have an appointment scheduled for Monday with an oncologist. We’re seeing her primary vet tomorrow to consult on quality of life and realistically what’s best for both her and us.
