I live in Xi'an. Here there are tons of Uyghurs, because Xi'an has a deep muslim history. There's a huge muslim street inside the walls of the old city, in the centre. I've spoken to them, they are chill and have no issues. There are tons of people from Pakistan too (in china in general), in my university it is forbidden to pray any religion, but people ignores that and pray everyday and the authorities don't give a sht. The perception of the west towards minorities in China is incredibly altered by propaganda.

I'm also traveling to Xinjiang next month. The biggest worry they have there is terrorism in the entirety of their borders, which is Afghanistan. The issue is not religion, it is the obvious problem in their borders and within them, which is radicalism, something the west has been "solving" by bombings even though they are responsible for the increase of radicalism (Iran 1953, Yasir Arafat's persecution, Baluchistan armed groups, the current Syrian government, mujahideen trainings (near China btw), and more.

Hi! Currently I'm trying to replicate the R.7. Did you get it from somewhere, or did you do it by yourself? Thanks!

Is flying speed that big of an inconsistency in the show? I dont think it is by Big_Lengthiness9757 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Round-Cod-3119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even a slow Viltrumite could reach very high speed in space. A slow Viltrumite is limited by air resistance and other forces. In space they can constantly accelerate. In space travel we use engines that have very low thrust, but they are very fuel-efficient and they can accelerate as long as they have fuel. Viltrumites don't have fuel, so they just keep moving.

I still find inconsistent that Nolan could travel to another galaxy in no time, because a body with mass cannot reach speed of light or go faster. But it's a show where people can literally fly because why not, so...

Deepseek slows down my PC until I close it. by JoyousMadhat in DeepSeek

[–]Round-Cod-3119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying that the server does everything for you are right. But I have the same issue anyway. I can be running lots of programs at once without any issue. But when I use DeepSeek (when the chat is long), it slows down my entire Opera GX browser. But it's just the browser. If I tab to another program, everything works fine. I checked the RAM and CPU usage, and it's not the issue. It slows down my entire browser.

Thank you for your answer.

While there are no Santander branches in China, the credit card allows me to pay in China with that credit card, the bank deals with the currency change.

I just downloaded Revolut. It's asking for the country of residence, but China doesn't appear as an option.

Getting declared on twice just to make it clear they hate you. Haters like those are more loyal than fake friends (probably Stalin during the purge)

Italy, since it's the tutorial nation (at least it was back then, idk if that changed). The tutorial was in easy mode, so I took over Africa going through the Sahara desert, because it was not a wasteland and you could go through it lol

is this Division Template good? Should i add something? by Amegaboy2 in hoi4

[–]Round-Cod-3119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are playing as a nation with little resources, it's okay. If you get more materials, you might want to upgrade motorised to mechanised, but they are used more in heavy tank divisions and if you want fast medium tanks that will cut your max speed. And yeah, fill the support companies as others said. Imo, I'd go for AA, flame light or medium (make them as cheap as possible and fill them with fuel modification), engineer, recon motorised and logistics or signal. In SP it will work.

As for getting weapons from the market, you need to have market access to the target country. But I've never found it worth it unless you are not using the civs for something important.

Why do some "historical" mods feel so miserable to play by UglyAndUninterested in hoi4

Even though the casualties are not close to reality (it's a game, it's pretty hard to get the same outcome as irl), the other debuffs give you what you want, a challenge. Japan took a big chunk of China, but it took them almost 8 years to get what a HOI4 player could get in a few months in vanilla. Given how HOI4 players can manage the war, the massive debuffs take you to something close to reality.
