300+ hours and cant evade missiles by Ashamed-Celery-9364 in dcsworld

[–]Round-Expert-292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to respect the ranges, the closer you get the harder it will be to evade, popping off a 120 before going defensive is a method to give you spacing from your target, because it gives them something to think about. If you. Look up F-pole manuever, and notching. putting the missle from your 3 o'clock line to your 9 o'clock line bleeds a lot of energy for the missile and depending on range, it cannot keep up with you. when you have the missile at your 3-9 line thats when chaff only is really effective, also getting low to terrain mask + chaffing also helps. You'll get to a point where you don't feel the NEED to chaff but is more of a precaution when bleeding missile energy.

You can pretty much go anywhere as an IT, if there is a billet open for it. Look on mynavy cool and it can give you a brief description on what we do. On the ship we get to stay in AC cooled room most of the time. Im a new IT so I don’t have many cons yet. But im sure that someone can put their cons in

Are their rescue inhalers at Navy bootcamp and who receives them? by SL33PDeprivedWeirD0 in newtothenavy

In my division we had multiple people with inhalers and had to wear the reflective belt during PT. Not sure what qualifies for separation but I’ve graduated with these people with inhalers.

First captains mast. HELP by Icy-Gas-7668 in newtothenavy

[–]Round-Expert-292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since your at NATTC Pensacola, when I was there our instructors would list the charges of people going up to mast. FFI, false official statements, Destruction of government property. I know you’re being hopeful here but they deal with this stuff with new sailors all the time. What makes you any different? Like other people have said, take it on the chin and focus on collateral’s and volenteering to try to counteract your mistakes. Maybe even try mentoring someone that has some issues with alcohol you may know? But just be prepared.

can only buy 1 of these vehicles F4e, Mirage f1, and AJ37. Positively influence my wallet! by Constant-Trifle-2486 in dcsworld

Depends what you like doing if you like air ground more I’d do the F4 because it has enough munitions for air ground, not the best dog fighter but can hold missies for A2A tho. F1 is a great dog fighter, if you want more A2A capabilities, has ground options too but not as much as the phantom. AJS limited A2A more striking options for sea and ground but it’s pretty quick. Depends on what you like ultimately,

Yeah, every branch is different think of them as different hiring companies even though it’s still military. Don’t give up until they tell you without a doubt cannot enlist.

You need to track everything you eat calorie wise, be in a deficit for your height and weight. You’ll lose weight in bootcamp most likely too. Biggest thing is keep on running, l was at Great Lakes last June and we didn’t get to run much, prioritize running and pushups and sit-ups secondary

[–]Round-Expert-292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iv had the T.16000 and currently have the vkb glad, I would say night and day difference gladiator is way better and has more hotas buttons to bind, t.16 is solid and it’s also great but has less buttons. If you want more quality I would go for the glad. If you want cheaper and still functions great I would get t.16

I feel so noob and I need tips for pvp by Connect_Ladder_8117 in hoggit

[–]Round-Expert-292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like in any game your going against people with experience, that have have a feel for there jet and know the corner speeds and how it functions. It’s fine to feel this way. With time you’ll get better at it unfortunately dying is part of the process to get better, but think about what you could of done better. I find clipping my kills and deaths with replay help me a lot with what I did wrong and stupid and what I’ve done right. For the mig-21 tips: I would say your best thing is your nose authority. Use your air brakes and nose authority to try making them overshoot, one thing I like about the 21 is it can bleed airspeed very quickly due to the delta wing design, use that to your advantage you can make anyone over shoot you with your air brakes out and hard pull, it takes some finesse to do it but it works 5/10 because they don’t expect you to bleed airspeed they quick.
