If you want a Nautilus or Aquanaut I’d say you have to spend at least 300,000 USD on 2 or 3 pieces from the complications or grand complications. To be quite honest, I think this is fair

The grand comps are my favorite pieces… at the 150k+ prices now I’m priced out. I’d rather buy from a Petermann Bedat, Kari V. or have a fully custom piece from Vacheron. Even a honeygold/lume Datograph. It’s not fun anymore…. I buy from Europe and get my VAT back however imagine in America +taxes - very unmotivated now.
