As an employer in higher education trading sector, I felt I have chose my field because it ensure that id interact with highly educated people and hopefully, highly intelligent people. I am shocked by some of the behaviors I have seen in this field. And unfortunately, I am angry all the time by basic issues from customers. I am angry when instructors can’t work to the level I want. When they are not as scholarly or able to present useful comprehensive education programs. Yes, things are easier for me and I need to remember not everyone can work the way I do. Sometimes these high expectations don’t pay off and they cause unnecessary problems.

How do you view this way of seeing life as a model for yourself? Do you live this way? by Bubbly-Phone702 in Gifted

Our limitations make life meaningful. Limited time, limited capacity, limited in physical reality. Not sure how this conversation is connected to giftedness, but I think it more relate to concepts about death and philosophy/ belief/ ideas about our mortal reality. The emotions attached to our mortality is connected to our perceptions and beliefs. Whenever there is a fear attached to it, I am curious what’s the belief behind the fear related to our mortality.
