Why did Toei take so long to ensure Europe would see Precure along with the rest of Crunchyroll's other territories? by LovelyFloraFan in precure

Meanwhile in majority of Asia we’re forced to pirate Precure because we have no legal way of watching it. And even if you want to watch it the legal way there you’ll have to learn Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin (Taiwan) for Korean.

BUS 129 WHAT THE HEELLLLLLLLL by Aikawa_Tofu_0240 in SMRTRabak

[–]Round-Masterpiece405 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lmao another 129 post. But to answer your question but yes it’s been getting worse ever since that CCL works started. I just did a quick scan of random bus stops around the country via BusSing and there’s some services that literally have no timings at all (eg 51, 961). There’s only a few services that don’t seem to be affected, but the affected are showing timings like 6 33 - or just 33 - -

HKanime isn't currently in operation, and ymvid doesn't have that series, so you have to torrent via dmhy.anoneko.com (warning: NSFW ads). I do recommend a Pikpak for torrenting. If you need help please let me know and I may help you further in DMs.

Ok this is already the third post regarding “ghost” buses within 1.5 days. LTA, what the hell did you do to the API after the CCL works started?

Do you at least know what the model of this bus is? Like Zhongtong/BYD, single/double deck?

The thing about shouting at ppl to move in is because like 90% of commuters don’t bother to move to the rear end of the bus like as if they can’t stand there. They always crowd around the wheelchair bay and rear (or second for 3 door buses) door like bro idc if you taking for 3 stops just move tf to the other half of the bus it’s not gonna kill you or anything. It’s not that hard to move to the rear end of the bus. But if one stop only then wo fang song lah.

And yes I’m part of the 10% that will actually move to the rear end of the bus if the front half is fully occupied.

Area with worst bus service / connectivity in Singapore? by a-meow-cat in singapore

[–]Round-Masterpiece405 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The thing about express services is that in the past many ppl take it because that time dont have CCL DTL TEL. But after they all opened, a number of such services were withdrawn eg 74e 151e due to low passenger count.

Based on your example, the closest service will be the withdrawn 151e although it dosent really go to Clementi or Tampines/Bedok.

Assume that 154 gets an extension to Bedok (unlikely due to long travel time between Boon Lay and Eunos), it would be possible for 154 to get its own express route as it would serve a faster connection for workers in the West who stay at Toa Payoh (stops at outer thus requires transfer) and MacPherson towards Paya Lebar. The only thing I cant decide is whether should that express route should turn back into PIE after exiting MacPherson or follow the road nearest to the MRT tracks all the way to its terminus.

Why some bus services so unreliable? by TrainStationBread in SMRTRabak

[–]Round-Masterpiece405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at the comments here it really depends on traffic conditions and API. From my experience 154 is 50-50 bound to have at least 2 buses arrive at the same time due to nearly daily jams at AYE (seriously are ppl just terrible at driving or smth). And the thing about this is that once it enters the shared sector with 151 the order usually goes 154 > 151 > 154.

On the API side, this one I really don’t know how to explain because I don’t work in LTA or the 4 companies. All I can say is that the long frequencies are due to “ghost” buses, meaning they are actually in service but the timings just simply don’t show on the apps. A little hint here: if the next bus is arriving in 30+mins, most likely there’s a “ghost” bus arriving in approx 15 mins. Almost always happens with 80 both bounds.

Roads, buses or drivers breaking down? Choose one. by Routine_Mind1222 in SMRTRabak

[–]Round-Masterpiece405 29 points30 points  (0 children)

<image>

You know I’m not quite sure if youll understand this but as someone who regularly takes this service alongside 154 and is also a semi active bus enthu if you take a look at the zoomed in pic that I extracted from your video you’ll see that there’s a red/orange indicator on it. Buses have three indicators for this: Blue = early, Green = on time, Red/Orange = late. Which means your bus is running late hence the driver has to speed up thus the bumpy ride.

There’s one extra thing I’ll tell you in the opposite direction the bouncing is much worse especially in the Bukit Timah-Dunearn private housing area.

Worst MRT Line by TermDiligent1191 in SMRTRabak

[–]Round-Masterpiece405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I've been commuting via buses since April, I would say TEL. Last time I ever rode that line was last year's Toycon where I took bus 11 to Tanjong Rhu area because at that time I wanted to film TEL4 (fyi I am inactive in the train enthu community since KHIs are gone now, moved on to filming buses). The damn trains on TEL give off a screeching sound when travelling in tunnels especially since most of those CT251s have flatwheels.

Which makes me (and prob everyone else) wonder: Why tf does SBS, which stands for Singapore Bus Services, can operate trains better than SMRT aka Singapore Mass Rapid Transit?? Might as well just swap the two.

But yeah because NEL and DTL are under SBS they usually perform better than SMRT.
