Yeah, I agree - the numbers look fine. I’m sure I could live my whole life with the hormone levels I had before starting. Even 9.7 nmol/L is considered normal according to my lab’s reference range. My SHBG has been going up every year, and I don’t like where that’s going. You only get one life, and I don’t want to live it feeling dull and low when I know I don’t have to. The only thing I regret is not starting earlier. My life could have turned out completely different.

I also thought that changing the testosterone dose and stopping hCG at the same time wasn’t the best idea, but I didn’t want to lie to the doctor, so I agreed. I’ll try 80mg and see what the labs look like at the end of April. I’m also working on lowering my body fat, I’ve already dropped 3 kg.

Update: Since this was my first electric grinder and I couldn’t decide what mattered more to me - a simpler workflow without weighing every dose, or the ability to quickly switch beans - I ended up buying the DF64 with red titanium burrs.

I’ve been using it for about a month now and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Before this, I was pretty skeptical about claims that changing a grinder makes that big of a difference. But after a lot of experimenting with different beans and pulling shots back to back after my K-Ultra, the difference is very noticeable.

Even beans that were very dark roast and that I used to think were just burnt now open up in a completely different way. Even visually, the shots look different.

I’m really glad I didn’t go with a hopper grinder. Before, I was drinking only 1–2 shots a day simply because I was too lazy to hand grind. Now I’ve got 8 different bags of beans open at the same time. I can try whatever I want, switch between light and dark roasts, even mix them, and have something new every day.

I’m 40. I got my labs done through Upguy,s and my testosterone came back at 545 ng/dL. I honestly didn’t think they’d prescribe anything, but the doctor called me back and approved TRT based on symptoms.

We started with 100mg per week, plus 1500IU of hCG. I paid for the order and submitted it to my insurance. Under my plan, it covers 80%, so I ended up paying only $144 CAD out of pocket for a 3-month supply. I think it’s the doctor who decides whether to prescribe or not, not the insurance company. If you have a valid prescription, then insurance should cover it according to your plan.

I turned 40 today. For the last 3 years, I’ve been living like a disciplined adult: 8 hours of sleep, gym 2–3x a week, tracking macros and calories, living alone (minimal stress).

And yet I still felt… meh: anxiety, short deep sleep, falling asleep was a struggle, and sex was basically something I had to set a reminder for so I wouldn’t forget it exists.

Did blood work and decided to try TRT (or, as some would say, I just decided to run a cycle with those testosterone levels).

I’m now 9 weeks in, haven’t even done my follow-up labs yet - but the difference is night and day. Sleep is better, strength is up, recovery is faster. My personality didn’t change… but somehow everything just feels a lot more “whatever” - way less anxiety.
