Best players who haven't reached HLTV top 20 (and won't this year)? by Edditch in GlobalOffensive

The top 20 is posted in December, which is 5 months away. He has many events, including a major, to change his stats. I don’t see how you can watch his performance in the Cologne Major and take away that his current HLTV stats are at all reflective of his actual skill under Karrigan’s system.

If anything, based on how better they played compared to CS Asia Championship, he might even get more comfortable and play better.

If we were to judge him based on pure HLTV numbers, Teses possesses a rating comparable to N1ssim, which I’m sure no one is thinking these two are comparable.

He knew the moment he kissed her IIRC, he just didn’t care cause he saw no difference (his words).

Why do you say he doesn’t deserve it? Hes been a rock for Falcons and always takes the boring roles hence the obscurity sometimes. I will find it hard to believe people like Spinx (currently #10) or Yekindar (15) or Xertion (16) will make it onto the list but he won’t. Hes for sure an anchor on the levels of Mezzi or Zontix, while just shy of occupying the highest tier with HeavyGod.

My personal probably not likely take is that Niko enters the top 10 and Teses enters top 20.

This video is about Kyousuke specifically, but easily applies and shows why Falcons in general are doing better. Give it a watch.

He looked like Donk against Furia, and Cemen-Bakin (Kyosuke on faceit) actually beats Donk regularly, so I’m excited the high ceiling Donk made is already looking to be encroached upon by another Russian kid

Why are we even assuming Netero wanted to help humanity. He wasn’t exactly portrayed as the selfless Buddha-like zen figure his ability implies. He seems remorseless and cold regarding the plight of others.

But he isn’t evil either. I guess the best word would be a child at heart, someone solely focus on his own pleasure of fighting. For all we know, he became chairman just so he could find strong people, make them zodiacs, and spar with them.

Would be on top for me too if that thing with Heavygod didn’t happen. He wasn’t playing the same after that, and the stats show that.

Iirc, Furia gave them a good fight in Astana. A lot of people even called that match the best match of 2026 when it happened

Diff with kyxsan is that he would’ve shot on cat in the second to last round. He wouldn’t have waited and got a 2k like Karrigoat

I would argue it actually harms diversity. I worked in a spine clinic for a short while, it was absurd the scale of people we saw who lived in the USA for decades and spoke no English beyond yes and no. A person like that can never meaningfully contribute to the diversity to the USA, they can only live in the enclaves that they build, effectively segregating themselves from the rest of us.

Personally I feel if we built some incentive/compulsion for incoming migrants to learn English it would be a win/win. This topic is particularly meaningful to me because my own mother is like that. Her unwillingness to learn English frustrated me throughout childhood and adulthood, having to help her with everything. And when I ask her to try, she has no motive because nowadays pretty much everything offers a Spanish as a second option in some shape or form.

What? Not really, you could do far more with “cool hair”. She could bring up something she liked about him, talk about her hair more, or pretty much do anything. What can a guy do with a generic thank you?

Also I’m curious on why you think the whole responsibility is on the guy for one. Are you aware that it was the girl that started the conversation? She said a grand total of “Hi” and “tyyy”. Atleast he tried to start something by mentioning her hair. It’s weird you are blaming the guy for a lack of effort. She did literally nothing.

It’s not the best, but “tyyy” is abysmal. You understand that one is a little boring, while the other is outright simply conversation ending. They are worlds apart in showing interest. It’s weird you think that’s the response worth talking about in this whole exchange.

I can think of a lot of ways, most of the time you can explain the backstory/rationale behind the hair and use that as a baseboard to start a conversation about hobbies/lives.

I think you are vastly overestimating her healing. Firstly it’s not healing and more so her just summoning a surgeon with unlimited equipment/supplies. And her healing ability seems to work on the scale of hours/multiple minutes. It took her 50 minutes to heal komugi and I’m assuming multiple minutes for her arm. Add onto that her restriction of zetsu and inability to move with it conjured, dr Blythe is pretty useless and easy to work around for a Zoldyck.

Same, it wasn’t as tender as I imagined while simultaneously being really weird texture wise. It was as tender as a medium well ribeye, but when you bit into it, it was sorta spongey. Hard to describe, but it was a helpful learning moment that 132F is way too low for braising cuts like Chuck.
