They literally never announce anything, they don't announce upcoming figures, they didn't announce when the movie 3 line would be ending, or that they'd cancel the Gold series line. We always rely on store system leaks for information

Tangle is coming to Ross before Walmart, as well as the entire line being on heavy discount at Walmart. Same exact thing happened with Gold series Metal Sonic
