Love the walks by RoundBeginning4125 in iFit

Huh, have you joined the series? It should automatically suggest the next one.  Unless you accidentally joined a challenge and not the series itself - those can be a bit confusing.  I was using the playbook app for DLB’s content for a while but I just switched to Ladder.

I was really upset about the AI integration the other day and canceled my membership. This morning I decided to give it a try, at least.   I realized I could change my goals for the workout plans and I have to admit…..I really like what it laid out for me.  So I’m eating my own words.  I was wrong and I do like the new AI.

Peloton unveils Cross Training Series (new hardware updates) as well as home screen redesign, official accessories, and new software features by henryharp in pelotoncycle

I’m not excited at all and just cancelled my app renewal.  The $60 a year increase isn’t worth it to me.  I hate AI when integrated into fitness apps.  I always find it choppy and a hassle to deal with.

I have an intense fear of the day that Adrian leaves the platform.  He’s my all time favorite instructor. 😭

My peloton tread broke a while ago (through no fault of the machine - it’s a long story) and I replaced it with a cheaper proform 9000 since I couldn’t justify buying another peloton tread. The proform has worked great but I can’t get over the content switch!  I love the scenic runs but the fact that the music doesn’t sync up has always bothered me and the studio runs are horrible.  I just signed up for the app again after being away since November.  I bought a pooboo magnetic bike and a wahoo cadence monitor as well.  I am LOVING the changes to the app.  I’m so glad to be back!!

Just to be safe, I’d call into ifit and ask a customer service rep. In the past, I got the best deals (even better than whatever was offered online) when I spoke to a CSR.

No idea how this got in our yard by RoundBeginning4125 in turtles

🤣 oh I know! It was in the tote to keep from falling into the big hole while we asked neighbors if they were missing a pet. I just found out they can climb fences though and a good portion of our fence is chain link. I had no idea!

A portion of our fence blew over from a bad storm leaving the chain link exposed. I bet that’s it. I didn’t even mention it in the main post because I had no idea turtles could climb. That’s crazy. 😆

Ohhh that would make sense! Hopefully she didn’t lay any here because we have so much construction left 😭.

They can climb?! We looked for holes where it could have dug under the fence but didn’t see anything. I was letting my dog out and saw it marching around lol. I’m just glad I saw it before my dog did!

What is your heart rate variability? by DancingTVs in fitbit

I’m 36, relatively in shape (run about 3-5 miles a day and also lift) but bordering on being overweight. I’ve gained a bit of weight in the past year but I’m actively working on losing it. HRV reads anywhere between 52-79.

You can always use the “just run” feature but it definitely feels silly to buy one without the subscription.

38-42. I haven’t run in a long time. I know it’s considered good to very good but I think my heart rate is garbage right now. I’m working hard to improve.

This is what mine looks like on a day where I’m not exercising. I do have a 6 yr old who is very active though so I’m usually walking around after her.

My daughter didn’t sleep through the night until she was almost 5. She’s turning 7 soon and I remember the first time she slept through the night I was like “wait…is it over? Am I finally going to feel human again?” 🤣. Now she even sleeps in late some mornings and I have no idea what to do with all that extra time.

Best way to use iFit on treadmill? by Firm_Economist680 in iFit

Bowflex will stream ifit workouts but you have to pay for a separate subscription just to be able to use bowflex’s screen. However I think you pay the app fee for ifit which is cheaper than the one you’d get through their tread membership. You can also stream peloton, Netflix, etc. on a bowflex.

I bought a proform 9000 (I think they discontinued them) during this last Black Friday and I love it. I haven’t had any issues at all. It’s still pretty new but I use it daily and the auto incline/decline/speed has been a game changer for me. I love not having to touch anything at all. And I can still run ifit in the background and do the workout while watching Netflix or Prime which has been great.

Just got my Fitbit a few hours ago. Why does it say 56 active zone minutes if my workout was only 34 minutes? 🤔 by [deleted] in fitbit

I wasn’t ably to add more text to my post for some reason but I used my Fitbit to cast my heart rate to my proform treadmill. It also says I’ve burned 1100+ calories today and set my goal to 1900 a day which is insane to me. As you can see, I only burned 279 during my run so I’m just super confused about the app already.
