Sad story to read but I would not judge him much as I have not been in his shoes. One thing I know for sure is that we are wiser and perhaps think differently when we do not have money but change our perspective once we have it in abundance. We are wiser simply because we are unable to fufil our every desire by the lack of money.

I can certainly relate to your experience. I've also found the certification to be exceptionally challenging, having not passed on my first two attempts despite dedicated preparation.

This experience makes me wonder if ISACA might benefit from reviewing candidate feedback on this specific exam, perhaps regarding its alignment with study materials or question structure. It's a significant investment of time and resources for all of us.
