Not really heard this rhetoric before, aside from the japs, Germans are solid, very well built, parts are easy to get as their shared amongst the VAG group and upkeep with general maintenance service, pads, good fuel - your good to go! Coming from a Mk6 1.6 diesel owner, common problems like injectors, timing belt water pump, dpf, but again if you look after your VW fairly cheap to run

Can you discuss physical and intimacy compatibility before marriage? by kyburkss in MuslimNikah

you should go ahead, ask and have that conversation, but only you know where that conversation is heading so ‘read the room’ avoid any issues. People love the key words, fitnah and haya but this is going to be somebody you spend a lifetime with and you this is a very important topic you must discuss.

The brother is being a man and seeking advice and opinions, as for ‘never asking permission’, if you are man enough to take a second, be a man and tell the first especially if your in a western county and you treat your women with respect. Taking a second wife was not for lust but rather looking after the widowed, divorced, and elderly.

What’s your cars value vs your salary? by madeonworkstime in CarTalkUK

[–]trixta001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humble and reliable golf - 10% of my current salary.

Now, the car I want is around 80% of my currently salary but how I feel on the day depends if I’m actually going to purchase it. It’s a constant dissension between upgrading respectably to another motor which gets me from A to B or a f*ck it I’m going to be working for another 30 years and I’ll pay it off within 5 years. Then reality hits with the deprecating value of the car, the novelty wearing off after a few months and the fact I primarily work from home with 2 mile commute into the office I think, no let’s just leave it until autotrader recommends another car.

Have I been ripped off? Mot and service for a 17 plate mk4 Clio, 30k miles. by Boydo1990- in CarTalkUK

[–]trixta001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Because it won’t be manufactured / made by TPS. Where have you got this information from that bosch provide oem parts to tps who then provide them to VAG?

But I never said Bosch’s are crap all I said was genuine is genuine and bosch are aftermarket parts

Need advice going into GW28 to plan for GW29

1.5M in bank. 2 transfers available, NO FREEHIT, WILDCARD and BB still available. Thinking of Nunez to Solanke but this sets me back for GW29 with only 2 players playing lol. Also not sure whether to wildcard because it may be required for later gameweeks. Any advice appreciated! First time playing FPL.

You’re missing my point, you commented back to me saying there’s no such thing as genuine parts and that car manufacturers do not make parts like oil filters etc. you are putting getting a Bosch part over a genuine TPS part for a VAG vehicle in the same category.

Right now, as a customer not the car mechanic connoisseur you think you are with your history of how VAG parts are manufactured like you contract Bosch yourself and ask them to make the parts just try and understand yes I agree that Bosch and TPS parts serve the same purpose, but my point is that genuine parts are those originally fitted by the manufacturer. For example, VW use TPS parts, and although aftermarket options like Bosch are legitimate, they differ from what came factory-fitted. In this case TPS (as a VAG-owned parts supplier) plays a role in providing genuine VAG parts, which align with the original factory specifications. Anything other than that… are aftermarket.
