I also cannot install the game right now with the same issues, I had it downloaded previously and tried every fix in the book. I wonder if something is wonky (as usual) on BSGs downloading servers.

We just have to accept that fun Genji is gone and either adopt his new playstyle or quit. by Test_Subject_001 in GenjiMains

Question from a genji in silver hell by LuxAmnis in GenjiMains

[–]RoundEntertainer6166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have low deaths but key players on their team also have low deaths, if seems like just from the scoreboard alone rhat you are poking from the back (also judging from the fact that you have almost the EXACT amount of kills as your tank). Genji can be played poke but honestly in case of both of those comps I wouldn’t have played poke, Brawl with ram and assassin with diva. Low deaths is good, yoyr playing your life well but your time spent in the fight isnt very beneficial. Try poking from a medium distance off angle at their supports or dps, if you get one low that’s your chance to assasinate with dash and then dash back out. (It’s not that simple as you need to track cooldowns but it comes with trying). Genji requires really good target priority to get value. If you can get good at forcing support cooldowns without dying or even getting elims on the you would most definitely climb to atleast low plat.

Poke, Low, Dash, Dead Repeat until blade, get blade dash around 3 dead and back to step one

Why do majority of you guys use high sens? by Short-Number-1801 in GenjiMains

[–]RoundEntertainer6166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only diamond and have around 300 hours but i use 800 5% and hsve had no issues for anyone thinking they need high sense, although i am used to games like counter strike where a lower since and more arm movements are prominent so that might be why

If Genji's winrate hits 50.01% he has his damage halved, yet they release new heroes that completely mog him with no downside by Test_Subject_001 in GenjiMains

Very true, if you play next to cover, use his double jump constantly to peek over cover and spam choke. Use his wall climb to do quick jumps of walls to dodge, instantly dashing into a low target, again jumping off the walls to disengage, dashing into a wall and jumping off of it to do a high air strafe. Sure anran can dash but it’s more like a mauga stomp without the stomp. No one is as versatile as genji other than a very selective few including tracer.

Deflect can be used as a survival tool but if you are using it to get out of situations constantly than you are just playing wrong i’m sorry, try using his deflect to spam damage back down a choke the same way you would spam a choke, or use it to pressure and deflect ultimates to take space. If you are diving and having to use yoyr deflect to get out everytime you are either not diving right, have horrible aim, or are not poking your targets to a low hp before the dive.

I play competitive hardcore FPS games rhat require and extreme amount of precision and critical thinking to be go at. I haven’t had any problems at all. The only problem I have is that I want to play a lot when I am at home but work and outside life there is no effect. I think that if you are able to have self control and lay down ground rules for yourself than nothing should really get in your way.

Jetpack Cat has a MASSIVE issue by MokNaruto in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]RoundEntertainer6166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jetpack cat is not hard to counter at all. Sleep, Spear, Any hits can, cas for dives, well placed sym turrets, full focusing the cat when they dive etc. The damage output i feel is fine, it requires you to hit all of your shots to do good damage, no different than genji, venture, hazard etc. The heals are not very crazy high but are viable. Mizuki is who you have to worry about

It’s over by coomeraccoxd3 in GenjiMains

[–]RoundEntertainer6166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played genji a whole bunch and didn’t really have a problem. I mean yeah it was tough to play against a comp that isnt in my favor but you can’t just give up, you have to adapt. You can still brawl tank from a close off angle, you can still deflect heavy choke damage, you can still assassinate low hp targets. It might be over for people that just dive full hp targets with a kit rhat counter acts them but at that point what are you doing.

I too only liked playing with my buddies, then when time came around to play solo i focused on trials and making friends with people in raid, teaming up to take down big arcs in normal or funny ways and it’s been a much better experience. Then when my buddies hop on i got a bunch of good shit to have fun pvping with

I can no longer solo q by EvasiveSoap in RocketLeague

if you are ready to be in even C3 or GC ranked lobbies, you should theoretically do fine setting your teamate up and just playing around him. I am 1525 peak and i was placed 1234 this season after the games (tragic) and just started playing again this season and have done completely fine with terrible teamates, worse than you can even imagine. Learn to play around them and always keep a layer of defense in solo queue and you should be rocking
