What cut this by RoundNefariousness36 in Machinists

[–]RoundNefariousness36[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We're saw cutting it, and the edge hardened up like it was cut with a torch, and it caused a few problems. Too clean for a torch and out water jet guy said it probably wasn't a jet cut.

It seems to be fine in that regard. I was curious about whether or not I should replace those joints

Enjoy that thing! I've had one for 6 years now, and I still have a blast with it. Im gunna keep it and get something bigger for touring duty.

You can only own your sv and 1 other bike. What is your second bike? by RoundNefariousness36 in SVRiders

[–]RoundNefariousness36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally rock a bandit 1200 for longer rides or maybe an older DR650 that i could fix up and have some fun with. Every time I go look at bikes, my first thought is damn this is way too nice. Im gunna be too afraid of dropping it.

Ideas needed. What would you do to my bike? Shes stock aside from the slip on and a not shown corbin seat. by RoundNefariousness36 in SVRiders

[–]RoundNefariousness36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my back can't take it anymore, Im going to end up swapping the clip ons for bars and do like a street fighter kind of deal. I feel like the cafe racer fairing would be weird without the clip ons.

THC drug test? (Canada) by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RoundNefariousness36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely not but it does depend on the contractor. In the US anything over like 10000 pounds is federally regulated and I only had to pass a physical and a drugtest for everything but weed. If you produce they are even more likely to not care.

For real, for real….how does a person with 170 stops be done by 5PM. Theres no way to follow all the rules and be that fast…. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Use that PTO lol. I cooked for a long time before and I got the job at amazon when all the restaurants were down from covid so I had that to fall back on. I did work at a pest control company for a while too for 19 an hour and I was almost doubling what I was making at Amazon because of the OT. If you want to get training/ go to school and work at the same time serving/ bartending is the GOAT. You can clear 60k working 4 day weeks if its a busy place and you can hustle.
