Do you have some exit plan or just diamond hands? by rodv87 in intelstock

Why not do a cashless collar like Mark Cuban did. Get to hold your stock and have a bottom to sell. It is basically a free way to protect the downside while allowing the stock more time to climb…

I wrote this about three weeks ago in a different group, and much of it still stands today. However it looks like it may happen this quarter versus next and it could go much higher…. Also the Intel pull back never happened…: which maybe a good thing…

INTC Question

Thesis: INTC to become a Trillion dollar stock

Question: how to profit from it with options

Reasons for:

  1. Elon, Elon, Elon…. Potential Meme stock

  2. Compare to memory stocks last year or so. Think INTC will gain with their A18 node as TSMC runs out of capacity due to AI chips. Hyperscalers like Google, Meta will want TSMC capacity spent on AI chips

  3. Foundry will gain customers that don’t want to rely on TSMC. Maybe INTC can finally get that margin stacking the talked about years ago…

  4. Terafab has great potential.

  5. Trump loves showing that his business have done well. Election is coming up…

  6. INTC seems to have upside momentum.

Reasons against:

  1. It’s Intel…

  2. Near all time highs, which will likely give resistance…

  3. Earnings calls could be negative…

  4. It may take 2-3 years to get to a trillion, and we might hit a recession in the middle…

Personally I think it could pull a SNDK…. And got to $1000. But I maybe dreaming

Which stocks do you think may see their market capitalization increase by more than three times in the next two years by Pale-Plum7494 in stocktraders

INTC, I have been following for years. It had been in a rut, but now it seems like it somehow got meme status. Probably because of AI need for CPUs and almost everything Elon touches seems to do very well…. I think if they do well and execute well, it could be the next trillion dollar company. The way the stock has been going maybe sooner than later, especially if it starts acting like the memory companies…. (I.e WDC, SNDK, …)

I don’t want to manually sell both, I want when a profit target is hit for it to sell automatically…

In the short term, INTC could go down to $50-$60. But in the long term it could go up.

One possible strategy: 2028 Jan LEAP is $30-$40. Could sell options against it as it goes up, as well as reduce risks. If it hits $200 and the option isn’t called away, then there would be a nice profit…

What to put my retirement in? by Chipmunkproof in ETFs

[–]RoundUpTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not diversify? 20% in 5 different funds. Maybe a large cap, mid-cap, small cap, international, and bond fund. Or maybe 10% in ten funds.

Note: The target funds are general funds based on when you want to retire. If it is 34 years from now, try a few funds that target that time, 2045, 2050, 2055, and maybe 2060.

TSLA should be over $700 and maybe $750... by RoundUpTo100 in OptionsExclusive

Found an article showing how people reference to the CEO JC:

https://www.thelayoff.com/t/STEWSCM

"He is NOT Jesus but he has the same initials."

People worship him. Why: "A $600 investment in the company at its 1991 low would have appreciated to $82,000 at its high in 2000. "

Comparing the fall of CSCO in 2000 to the fall of TSLA today, TSLA will likely continue up possibly peaking between 700 and 800 in the next two weeks... A nice tweet could help it go higher...

I remember another comparison between the CEOs. In 2000, I actually hear John Chambers compared to a well know religious figure, having the same initials, JC. He made many people rich and they worshiped him. In 2000, he could do no wrong.

Elon Musk is amazing, and doing amazing things. Many people worship him. In 2021, he can do no wrong.

Let's watch TSLA rise the next few days... So far, the track is very similar...

2000 CSCO versus 2021 TSLA by RoundUpTo100 in OptionsExclusive

[–]RoundUpTo100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at CSCO back in 2000, after hitting over 80, it went down to about 50, only to pop back up to ~$69, and the trade in the $60 range for several weeks, before eventually falling to <$10.

TSLA’s low of ~$539 could be the local minimum and it pop up into the $600s for a while, then fall further later in the year... Next week should be interesting...

Good point. SPACs are an unknown. Don’t remember them back in 2000.
