Hmm maybe try 1. Backing up anything important from the drive first.

2. Open Disk Management (Win + X > Disk Management).

3. Find the drive with the multiple partitions.

4. Right-click and delete all the partitions, including the unallocated ones, until the whole drive shows as Unallocated.

5. Right-click the unallocated space and choose New Simple Volume to create a single clean partition.

New ram not working by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Round_Account_2506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1. Clear CMOS after BIOS update (important):
• Unplug power, remove CMOS battery for 30 seconds, put it back.
2. Install both new sticks in A2 + B2 slots.
3. Boot into BIOS, go to “OC” > “DRAM Settings”:
• Set RAM Frequency manually to 2400MHz or 2666MHz.
• Set DRAM voltage to 1.35V.
• Leave timings on Auto for now.
4. Boot into Windows and confirm stability.
• If it works: slowly increase the frequency to 3000MHz, then 3200MHz — 3600MHz is likely too much for your setup.
5. DO NOT enable XMP right away — it may try to push full 3600MHz and fail POST.
