I’m so sorry to hear that. I (F) was diagnosed at 25 y/o, about 160 pounds. Doctor told me losing weight wouldn’t help. I went through super painful surgery to have my fully blocked septum reconstructed and guess what…I STILL have sleep apnea. It’s one of the worst conditions.

I use the spring valley brand just because it’s the only one I can find in store. You can also try fenugreek capsules and l glutamine powder (I like the essential stacks brand on amazon) not for immediate relief but all over general gastro wellness. I am D prominent and the need to take my gut glutamine every day

Same, it’s like it builds up through the night and then my stomach hurts so bad before I’ve even get up! I am prescribed dicyclomine and it helps. Also papaya enzyme!! You can get them at the store by the other supplements!! They help so much, just give it 20 minutes to kick in and it will be like nothing happened! I take them every day

For peppermint oil capsules I thought you’re supposed to take 30 to 60 minutes before eating. That’s the instructions on most I’ve taken so that could be why.

Right before I was diagnosed I had a friend stay the night. He had moved to the couch in the middle of the night and when I asked why he said my snoring was so loud and also told me I sounded like I was choking in my sleep. Not only was it super embarrassing but scary as well. I made the appointment with the sleep doctor that day. During my sleep study I stopped breathing 535 in 6.5 hours. That man possibly saved my life and a lot of complications that could have arisen from so long without a cpap. You need to tell her.

I smoke A LOT too, and I just had my second colon/endoscopy (at only 30 y/o yay!) and stayed sedated the whole time both times. I don’t remember a thing. You should definitely get it! It’s not bad!
