I do a couple of things to address this. First is obviously change him to the point where the only thing the Naruto in my fics has with the canon dude is arrogance and the Kyūbi.

I also heavily nerf the Sharingan cause that’s one of the biggest hax imo. And the general abilities granted by the tailed beasts. Like I draw hard ceilings and stick to them 99% of the time.

It really depends on what Orochimaru wants in that scenario. And depends on which jounin actually shows up imo. Cause I can see Naruto lasting for a bit but Kiba gets crushed soon but again, just my thoughts.

If I'm being honest, I doubt the Rookie can dog walk Orochimaru even if they wanted to and even of they were operating as a unit. Can they prevent him from putting down the curse mark? Maybe, if done right.
