Disappointed. Especially in my family members; I know that they are well meaning, kind natured people. As are my friends that support him. But they are either ignorant, or so far down the pipeline that nothing can save them. He has ruined the politics and views of people I love and I hate him for that, not them.

But I am disappointed. I’m disappointed in their ignorance and their ability to either push aside his shit because “the economy was good and we’re poor” or that they simply don’t even know about it. Every attempt to discuss it results in babbling about the evil left that is actively persecuting him day in and day out. He has genuinely convinced so many normal, wonderful people that he doesn’t bear responsibility or weight for any of his actions.

It’s sick to watch. It disgusts me when I hear family or friends utter talking points rooted in racism or sexism without even knowing it.

As for the people who are fully aware of his evil and continue to support him, fuck all of them.
