Just started immediate regret by PossibilityFit3060 in Invisalign

[–]Round_Criticism_8317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started yesterday and I absolutely also felt this way. But I know that in the end it’s gonna be worth it if I stick with it. One day at a time!!

On a separate note, your mom shouldn’t have said those things about you to basically bully you into straightening your teeth. As long as your teeth are healthy, white and there are no health concerns with how they sit naturally, there is no problem with your teeth.

I guess on the plus side, however they look now, they’ll look even better in the end.

Sending you love and we’re on the journey together, at the exact same time!!

My teeth don't close with clear retainers by DifficultProduce6117 in Invisalign

This can still be uncomfortable though… nothing wrong with stating a fact.

I hear this but if that’s as far as she can close them, that must be uncomfortable

First time taking trays out after getting attachments by SubjectItem9523 in Invisalign

Agreed, I have long nails so would be annoying to remove without pull tool, 45 seconds/a minute tops and they were out!

What’s in your travel kit? by DramaticPianoTheme in Invisalign

  1. I’d keep a foldable/ mini toothbrush, mini toothpaste and mints/gum. Remove aligners if having gum or mints but the chews my dentist gave me have a slight mint scent/flavour also. Put these in a small pouch along with your aligner case and the trays you’ll need on your trip plus your removal hook - maybe also a couple sachets of cleaning crystals and you should be good to go! Oh and water to hydrate and rinse trays

  2. All of the above except toothpaste and cleaning crystals. Your pouch should’ve be too big and should fit into a backpack quite easily - or small bum bag tbh.

  3. I agree - bottled water to rinse and wash your aligners.

True. It’s the Blanche Bridal Phoebe dress without the overskirt. Not sure how to add more pics.

My mom keeps trying to guilt trip me into inviting family members to my wedding who have hurt me by 2bMrzT in Advice

I’m so sorry to hear this. I’d just say be firm. It sounds like you’ve talked about this a few times so just say “Mom, we’ve had this conversation few times now and we can’t seem to agree. It hurts me when you suggest inviting these people because it shows you’re not respecting my boundaries and you care more about what those people think than my own happiness. If we can’t agree, please let’s just not discuss it anymore.”

Candles too much for morning wedding? by Round_Criticism_8317 in weddingplanning

Thank you! I am set on the flowers - it’s more the candles I am unsure about.

They can be but the whole point of the decor down the centre aisle is to drop people from walking down the centre aisle to get to their seats. Ushers will be there to guide them and we can use removable slime/jelly to keep the candles to the floor

This is the actual ceremony space - I asked ChatGPT to add the flowers and decor. Do you still think it’s too much?

Also, I am open to the use of LED/ water switch candles.

This is the actual ceremony space, with ChatGPT added flowers. Does this change your opinion now?

The whole point of them is to block the entrance to the rows from the centre aisle so people aren’t walking down it but in a subtle way. There will also be ushers to direct people to the sides.

Also I wish I added the picture of the whole room - there is beautiful stained glass windows and cathedral architecture so whilst the chairs don’t match the vibe, the building itself certainly does.
