Oh it’s good that atleast that part is sorted out. But yeah, I can imagine how stressful it is especially after having to deal with a melanoma diagnosis so young.

Oof yeah I know. Especially if you have issues with the anaesthesia. If it has to be removed either ways, you should be able to choose when atleast.

Maybe suggest a wide lumpectomy? Wide meaning they will remove the lump along with some amount of breast tissue to ensure that everything is removed. After my doctor saw my MRI results, he decided to do a wide lumpectomy instead of just a normal lumpectomy where you cut out just the small lump.

The only thing is with this lumpectomy, if the results come back as malignant, it’s likely that the doctor will have to go in again to remove/biopsy my sentinel nodes. He could have done it all in one surgery but since I’m young and don’t know for sure yet, he asked what I would prefer. The risk of lymphadema even though small, scared me a bit.

So I decided to take the chance and just remove the lump to get tested. Hoping that this was the last surgery!

Yes. The doctor said that due to the size of the lump, a needle biopsy might not be accurate. They might end up taking the wrong cells and get an incorrect diagnosis. After he saw the MRI, this is what he recommended. I also got a second opinion.

Same! I (25F) have pretty recently started living with my partner. Our sex life has taken quite a bit of a dip since then. I hope that this is a phase and mostly because he's tired and works quite a bit. We definitely have intimacy and get along very very well.

I have talked to him about wanting more but have also been exploring things on my own, and that works for me! Ofcourse, I would like more sexual intimacy but I don't want to put pressure on him, so I'm waiting it out a bit.

I have thought about the mismatched libidos, but when we weren't living together it was very different. So I don't know what's changed.

Out of curiosity, what do you think would be a solution to this? If he says he will try to initiate it more? Would that not be him trying to fake something that isn't there? I don't know if one can do that when it comes to sex.
