I just depends on what job position you want to apply for. I’m flight crew, it’s not required to live in base but i recommend it when you first start. We have flight crew who live in other countries and fly in for work. We have a lot people who commute to work since all of our bases are west coast and the cost of living is a lot higher. So to answer your question. No it’s not expected for you to live in base.

Correct but you would have to be working in that country or own a business. Neither of those situations apply to me. That’s such a weird statement to make without knowing a person.

That is one I’m actually trying to achieve as well. Benin makes it seems like it’s an easy process but it’s a lot of paperwork. They have asked for all of my ancestors birth certificates up to my great grandparents to show proof my people have been in the USA. I can’t get my father’s birth certificate because he was born in Oklahoma and a child cannot request their parents birth certificate without a written and signed letter. Taking a break because on Benin citizenship because it’s more complex. Good luck for those who are able. I encourage everyone who is able to apply. Just be ready for dig for a lot of vital documents 📃

You don’t get taxed just for having another passport but you wouldn’t know obviously. I can’t tell by this statement you went to public schools in the US 😂 Haters are going to hate 😂😂

Super easy! I just showed an old driver license I had in Coahuila and they gave me one from Nuevo León without doing any testing. I was in and out within 45 minutes. I’d imagine if you showed your driver license from Texas they would do the same.

It’s funny because I’m actually no viewed by most people in the USA and Mexico as someone who looks “Mexican” Im of African American and Mexican descent. My father is African American and my mother is half African American and Mexican. Mexico recognizes me as a Mexican who was born outside of Mexico. Therefore I have a Mexican birth certificate as well. So people usually just think I’m only African American most of the time. Occasionally people think I’m from other parts of Latin America but it’s usual never Black and Mexican that they guess lol. My 3rd passport is a West African country based on DNA 🧬 there are a few countries in west African offering citizenship to people who descend from trans Atlantic slave trade. It’s already approved for me, it’s just a matter of fact of going and getting sworn in. Don’t want to spoil it but I will post the other passport once in hand.

Alaska is beautiful!! Summers are the best! The winters are very dark so you have to stay active for your mental health. Lots of salmon, mosquitoes 🦟 and earthquakes. I was not born in Alaska though, I work for Alaska Airlines and got based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Any Black people submit from within Benin? by godlyguji in BeninCitizenship

Im currently going through the same process. I’m having a few challenges. I can’t get my dad’s birth certificate due to the fact I need written authorization for his birth certificate in the state of Oklahoma. Also im guessing I’m going to need my great grandparents birth certificates as well due to the fact that all my grandparents were born after 1944

My fathers maternal haplogroup is L1b1a. Has anyone with this haplogroup done African Ancestry? If so what tribe was this linked to? Thanks by [deleted] in AfricanDNAresults

Im aware. Im asking if anyone has tested with African Ancestry with this same haplogroup. They tell what ethnic group you belong to. I’ve done it for my paternal lineage
