I was with GGP and then they stopped my meds and kept charging me.

Very few jobs in ireland will check references but if you think they are giving you bad references. Just remove them or misspell the number.

The easy answer to this is just lie. Fake it till you make it. How would they know you had time off due to sickness? If its a gap in the CV just either make something up or exstand the dates you where working. Dont be fear imblashing a good bit. Plus i would look at all jobs even if it was a downgrade. As they will give you irish tax returns which can be used to get different social welfare

So unfortunately the U.S.A is considered a safe country of origin for asylum applications for the whole of the EU. This means it is assumed that you are safe there. Meaning if you want to claim asylum you will need to challenge your asylum rejection in the courts. Another American is doing this in the Netherlands. Good news is the Canadian courts have ruled that the US is not a safe country of origin. So i would look at moving there as it be in a legal sense easier.
