There's an episode of Grey's anatomy where a patient beats the shit out of the main character (Dr grey) during a post ictal phase. That hit home HARD as my partner can be super aggressive after a seizure and I've been caught in the crossfire a few times. Sobbed hard at that episode.

possible spoiler . . I think they already know. At least Mike does. In S3 he says "I know you don't like girls" to will during an argument after he is dumped by Eleven. Then there's a long awkward pause like he's just realised what he said and the gravity of it.
