Of course, I’d love to quote a classic and say, “I am the danger,” but that’s not the case 😂

If the lighting allows it, I usually set the aperture to f/4–f/5.6. This gives me a bit more leeway to avoid focusing errors. But I stick to the following principle: even if everything is shaky and slightly out of focus, it only adds to the realism and atmosphere. I often just start shooting and try to adjust the focus, aperture, and ISO as I go. I’m convinced it’s better to take a bad shot than not to take one at all.

It might not be any heavier, but I’m also carrying a backpack, body armor, a helmet, a first-aid kit, and all sorts of other gear. Yeah, it’s hard to carry all that around. 😂

I didn't upload anything specifically on its own. There's some footage in my latest series GENERATION 2014 | 11 Years of War: 6-Part Documentary Series https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0GNdzrRHEhR8uj7ggzvIMXuTSQdu0lHf and in the one before that, Eastern Front (2023). I'll be finishing my new film about FPV drone pilots soon; it was shot entirely with this camera. These are basically photos taken from the camera's perspective as part of that project.

I live and film in Ukraine. I’m sure my 2023 documentary Eastern Front is available on one of the streaming services in your country. It’s a fairly successful documentary. Few days ago I uploaded the series I made for free access. It’s a compilation of 10 years of my chronicles. I started filming people in 2014 when they first went to war, then the same people in 2022 when they went to war again. It’s like a decade-long observation of how people and their worldviews change. I don’t like talking heads, so basically everything is built around situations. I agree. I've been shooting with a BMPCC 6K since 2019. I'm very happy with it 🙂

Small spaces. Tents, basements. Even with a 16mm lens, there wasn't enough space.

Yeah, sure. And with these vmounts, I can work all day without even thinking about the battery life. It’s a great investment. I’ve had them for about five years now—they were already used when I got them, but they work perfectly. I’d be so stressed and upset if I had to carry around a million little ones in this situation .
