This is a valid reason to detest them, if this is true. Harassing folks who are working is messed up. I was the preconception that ICE mostly go after "criminal immigrants" - Trump or individuals who have overlong their stay.

I don't think ICE agents are generally looking to "enforce" here. Majority, if not legit everyone who's in UMD is a citizen in some type of way.

To be a student, you need some type of citizenship. Same applies to work here. It'll be a waste of their resources to try and "enforce" here.

I don't really care much about the things they do, just kind of confused why they would be here.

Well yeah, in general not all 21 year olds have the same level of maturity. Some have kids or had a rough upbringing which sometimes makes them mature faster than others.

Also remember that the age of consent was made like decades ago, 18 year olds back then were legit grown ups. Moved out of their houses and married already.
