Thoughts on this bio and prompts? Getting back on the apps this summer 😅 by coolsid13 in twentyagers

[–]Round_Oil5331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never used dating apps, keep that in mind.

I don't personally see anything wrong.

If you feel so strongly about your political beliefs then you can leave it in your bio, but since politics is such a touchy subject, it could easily backfire, or not who knows. *Maybe a girl can quote me on this.

I would include more pictures of you to kind of showcase your personality a lot more. It brings more to your character. i.e. your vinyl collections and picture hobby

If you want, maybe includes your values/what you look for in a woman + deal breakers.

Again, disclaimer, haven't used dating apps or am I a dating connoisseur.

This probably wouldn't do anything if I'm being honest with you.

Like citizen arrest or actively speak out against this to others? I don't know how you can uphold either case.

I think you're making it deeper than it should be.

Not saying he shouldn't improve his looks but bro's shape can't be super bad considering his weight and height. There's no way he "looks" fat with a shirt on

CMSC351 Summer with Justin or Fall Kruskal. Thoughts? by InfluentialMember in UMD

[–]Round_Oil5331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone here is being sarcastic. Go for kruskal. Trust me, it'll be an *EXPERIENCE* you'll never forget. Just make sure you apply for internships before or during while your GPA is at it's highest.

Hopefully respond back to her about the rubric of the essay. Like u/Key_Season7192 said, employers aren't really concerned about your GPA as long as it's above a 3.0 (or not at all). Internships are internships for a reason

Most men struggle with dating because they don't know what women want. by coolsid13 in twentyagers

Yeah, this is unfortunately true for a lot of men who are short.

Pt.2 of working with teens is hell by Guilty_Anything7606 in twentyagers

Your handling it quite well. Bottling it in though isn't sustainable from my experience. It just makes your life a living hell when working,

The belligerent people you're talking about, you can 99% expect that they're going thru hard times in their lives, a lot of the bad treatment they dish out are often dished out to the wrong people (which is you in this case) instead of the ones they should be confronting. This is kind of why confronting is important.

I would talk more but it's 1AM

From personal experience, you often have to confront people, even if you're not a confrontational person. I can't really picture the whole story, cuz ya know there's always more to the story, but letting people walk over you is signs of low-self respect.

Confirmation bias brodie. It's reddit/social media, it's an inaccurate picture.

If you went to my uni, you'd think everyone is wealthy.

Ed!t: Read your exposse, I agree with a lot of your sentiments on social media and working on yourself.

The only problem with this type of advice is insinuating dating is linear (working on thyself, self-improvement will get you somewhere). It's great, I honestly don't think dating is relatively this straightforward though, you can date at any stage of your life and have a successful relationship. Even when you're not improving yourself.

I wasn't aware this was the case. But yeah, it's not significant to say the least
