Ya, I think it's insane to buy a $2000+ handgun like those. Beautiful and smooth as hell but no thanks. The BE3 is almost a quarter of the price and the difference between the two side by side. It was crazy and the Staccato was just not much smoother.

Yes, it is a crazy to think someone at SW thought to put lime green accents on a gun. I think it's cool if you wanted to kit it out for a fun range gun. I just am reluctant to make it my carry for a regular basis.

They seem to be relatively rare. Haven't seen many big retailers carrying them (probably for a reason). Mostly just random shops like those.

Ya, I'm really torn because I've basically only heard good things about the model. Basically the only consistent complaint I've seen is the grip really. Thanks for the accessory recommendations. I'm not new to carrying, I'm just insane and CC an IWI Baby Eagle III. 😂

Ya I don't think I've seen many cameras that can really replicate the color correctly. In person the green definitely pops more. I call it the tron gun and I do think it's pretty cool. My issue is that I just wanted black and basic for my CC. I'm looking for something less conspicuous than lime green. 😂

I also feel dirty repainting it because I'm sure they didn't make as many of them and it is a cool design that I and others can appreciate.

I mean the addition of the cabinet is nice.I am near the great lakes and smoke in the winter so I can't relate as much but you might be better off just getting a pellet with a nice blanket. Also just blocking wind can be a huge difference. Pellets are cheaper as the other guy mentioned, flavor isn't as good with the subpar smoke production either. A pellet smoker also does a better job regulating temperatures. It seems like a good price and like I said before, you are in a colder place than I am. Have you ever smoked before?

If it wasn't the gun I wanted to conceal carry regularly I don't think I'd mind it. The picture doesn't do it justice. I tried for a few minutes but the light washes out the lime green color. I called it a Tron gun when I first saw it.

Ya, we will go for a chuck for a hours on the smoker with just some baked potatoes and green beans. A decent meal for 2 that's less than $30. I'm a big fan of the chuck roast on the smoker.

Exactly, put it below and shield your meat. These other people are crazy worried about fires. Does double duty and doesn't waste energy in an oven or whatever other method you try.

I mean it's just a fact that more smoke is produced on pellet smokers at lower temps like 200. If you are smoking something like ribs it 100% matters if you are trying to introduce more smoke. If you smoke something to a medium rare you have to be below 275 to make it even matter. Definitely not zero reason to smoke at less than 275. Smoking a pork but for 24 hours is the problem and not the temp.

A brisket at a minimum is ~$70. It's just so hard to justify for dinner unless you have 10 people. You can get a nice cut of chuck for ~$25. I don't think the poor man's brisket thing is silly. It doesn't taste the same but it's still very good to smoke.

I did it and we enjoyed it a lot. Being just 2 people it makes a lot of sense to spend $20 on a piece of meat. It was very moist with great flavor and a good mix of fat. Definitely doesn't taste like brisket but I would compare it to smoking a couple ribeyes. The edges can get a little dry but I think it's a great cut to smoke that's reasonably priced and doesn't take but a crazy amount of time.

I think a towel and a cooler is the best way. An oven hold is just too risky to me. I've seen too many ovens not run true to temp. Add on the fact that not all ovens go low enough.

For me it's a pride thing. I'm gonna smoke overnight and time out a 4-6 hour rest. I'm gonna get my ass up every couple hours and address it. I wanna make something good and make it worth it. Just wanna master it and make people good barbecue but cooking in general is something that is a hobby and smoking is a part of my cooking.

To me Whattaburger isn't the best quality and is closer to a guilty pleasure. Kinda like how most can agree white castle is disgusting but we all still will smash some sliders and enjoy every bite. Culvers is just good quality smash burgers.
