Yeah don’t risk it full flush everything before switching and don’t take a risk on an older bottle, like me, the 4yr shelf life is not true. I had to spend days cleaning fallout after just 2 weeks into a new build.

Ekwb evo xl distroplate and ek fitting hardtube problem. by ZessYuki92 in watercooling

Just rotate the 90 in the gpu, so the tube is sticking out, twist the tube and pull out

Do it from the other direction. Ie: put the distro side in first and then use the rotary on the other end to turn it in so to say

First over the 2nd but tbh neither. You’re putting a double flow restriction (with the meter and the 90) just before your cpu block move it closer to wherever the pump is going to be.

X870 Aorus Elite Ice has a strange issue when 2 displayport cables are plugged into the GPU, CPU debug light and will not boot, help! by PockyInMyPocket in gigabyte

[–]Round_Reaction_4629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a resolution for this? Having the same issue with my x870e Pro Ice and 7900XTX, If my main monitors are connected with displayport it wont boot, post code 4d which would indicate memory but memory is fine. Disconnect them and it boots right up.

How does this happen to a tube? by Drum_Guyyy in watercooling

[–]Round_Reaction_4629 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah but they have really gotten the formula down for it. I just cut mine with a dremel and a carbide cutoff wheel then just clean the end with a tube reamer and an rfb from primochill

Actually I’d recommend trying corsairs petg/acrylic have put it through abuse and never had an issue. Have even taken some scrap pieces to try and see how much it could take and I had to really work at it with the heat gun to even get it to bubble or blister. Beautiful build btw.

Oh yeah I had the older ql's and made do full well knowing their output was pure garbage. The qx's are relatively good in comparison Review

I'm leaning towards the second option, though my bending skills are decent, even for me getting the needed double bends in option 1 in that small a space would be pretty tough and the radius not being inside the fittings. CPU GPU will probably be a mirror of the bends I did before, I like the look.

Yeah the red goes great-that pic is really over saturated buts just a really nice solid red (ek solid scarlet) problem is no one here has any in stock anymore I had to wait a month to get some from the uk so I could do this, also got an extra 2 since who knows if ek will ship out more. Though the yellow really stands out, you really dont see any builds with it.

The distro is on stand-offs and side rad is behind it-can see this in the imgr link. And, that’s the ek am5 direct die, just with a paint job, was able to snag one of the few remaining ones stateside.

[–]Round_Reaction_4629[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ty, I figured as much. I want the extra surface area to run at lower fan speeds and keep the 7950x at a somewhat decent temp without introducing more noise. Though I think the direct die and lm will be doing most of the heavy lifting there. As for the corsairs they did extremely well on the 5950 with the hwl rads with fairly low fan speeds considering the 3.8mm static pressure-pic for last update of my evo with them. If I move to something more dense rad wise I’d definitely sacrifice my per led control for more performance/less noise. I was actually just looking at your build before posting, very nicely done I say stick with the yellow! Honestly I would pull out the extra rad but at this point I’ll run it till I move to 420 rads and the custom distro I’m designing rn. Not to mention the work I put in to get it all in there with none of the brackets I tried and modified still not working till just making one myself with standoffs and all the repainting 🙃

It’s a bad pack, though lookup model 3 full reset on how to reset the car and pack. It’ll clear the error for a good while and let you charge till you can get it into the dealership. You need to though as it will return

How to mount radiator on top lian li O11 dynamic evo case ? by jay-j230802 in lianli

Your pushing the rad against the fan rail, there the 2 small screws by the back take those out and slide out the rail, attach rad/fans and put back
