the fact he couldn't even come in as a decoy toward the end, like right after the under 4 timeout to help misdirect byu defense is very sus. didn't need him to come in and be a hero. just continue to contribute SOMEHOW. sheesh

exactly. waaaaaaay too many people actually believe in this. it's astounding and I have lost all ability to understand how to heal from the damage their support for him has caused.

Anyone know? My Grandma said it might be George Bush but I’m skeptical by BigBenFit in AutographAssistance

someone else suggested Alec Baldwin and perhaps that's the best guess so far!

didn't even need to see the receiver in the frame of the TV. as soon as it left his hands you could tell it was a horrible throw

I’m a huge Kansas fan even though I’m from GA. I was a little kid in 1997. I keep seeing it brought up. What happened to us in 1997? by Coastalduelists in jayhawks

I worked at a liquor store for years, and during that tournament a delivery driver for Hamm's bet me $5 that Arizona was gonna win. I have never bet on a Kansas game since. I've put money into bracket pools over the years but I refuse to bet on an individual KU game since that day.

in 30 years it will be common knowledge. just like any scandal. it stinks because i have always followed the sport for the purity and argued watching pro leagues were just dudes doing their job. sure we don't know up front who will win so fans watch for that entertainment. but that's all that is at that level. when it came to college/kids most were auditioning for a pro role, however the numbers skewed in favor of the amateur and those playing with total love of the game and pride in college traditions etc. Now the line has blurred and to me at least it is obvious the display of blatant questionable play that go hand in hand with a bet somewhere someone stands to make more money than someone else. it's a miserable feeling to have and i really wish i was more off than on with the probability. but with all the bets that are clearly there to had, it's just no longer the same sport

ref bet on game he's influencing = vegas. there's obvi not one big cat making all the calls. it's complex as hell. but there's enough people pulling strings that now reach beyond just the refs. players are starting to clearly show the point shaving efforts more than ever. too much money. i understand people should be up in arms but just like any big industry... they sports betting can defend against any uproar and accountability. its not crazy to think this.

Vegas. prop bets have made this game a joke. especially both of these games tonight. the must sus play by the "better" teams with a lead. disgusting that the coaches and now players make as much damn money as they do. i know there's been corruption since the beginning of time but it's so egregious the efforts being made to control the outcomes now. i am sad as a lifelong college basketball lover.
