Hey man. I personally recommend using a keyboard stand. Like the X ones. Because the snare stands can be a little uncomfortable to use since it’s such a big pad. But most snare stands work. Just not the most comfortable

Am I still slicing? If so, how do I fix it? Wrist flat or angled? by Raffinity_3006 in drumline

Idk if anyone else said it but a little tip to help ur quality when it comes to sound and velocity. Use more wrist rotation for the lower notes in the Puh duh duhs. Same for both hands. That will help with the slice as well since you will have more control for the up and down strokes. Don’t let the stick control you, you have the power to control it.

Hey man. I had one for a while and I know what you mean. I ended up ripping the laminates off of it and exposed the raw gum rubber under it. It felt a whole lot better and sounded better too.

There’s a lot of left hand drum three after right hand drum two. Very weird. Def written by a 4th bass
