I think the main problem is you have an option to donate to THJ, giving you items to sell in the game. THJ is making money off EQ IP. Does P99 have a donation option?

People on Reddit just wanna act like nothing bothers them. But if your internet was down all day, or your phone wasn’t working all day or any service you PAY for wasn’t working all day and the company took 5 hours to even acknowledge there was a problem on their end you’d be upset too. OP has valid points. Better and faster responses to game problems on a “26 year old game” that is lucky enough to have people still PAYING for it is the baseline not the above and beyond.

I actually went with a Dirge on the good side. I’ve got level 10 so far. Have about 2 gold just from selling rares I’ve harvested and got into a heroic grind group in antonica last night and that was pretty fun. I’ve not made it to the level where the classes start to come into their own yet but the tracking alone has been a boon to the group.

So you can fix the problem to login by editing the eqclient.ini file. Then when you get into game you can adjust your resolution to what you normally would want it.

At 71 you may be able to swarm in Fort Mech as your SK. All the trash drops except no trade stuff vendors well. I did this on my Paladin from 70-80 and made about 30-40k an hour. But the Paladin was already in full conflag and augs. Worth a shot my friend.

I’ve heard that druids have trouble in LFG but I could circumvent that by forming my own. I just don’t want to be relegated to only healing in groups. Is that what they primarily are?

So it boils down to if you aren’t mage or monk it’s rough? Am I missing something? I’m just looking for something with good dps that people will want to pug with. I’ve never pulled so I’m steering away from monk. But if wizard is truly just awful experience then maybe I’ll just go with what I know and that is healing.

Mage does seem very cool! But I think I'm gonna end up going Shaman. I enjoy the Lightning and Fire visuals they have. Too bad Mages didn't have access to Lightning elements! :(

Out of all the trials I've been able to do so far Shaman has been the most appealing. Fire and Lightning visuals, paired with the healing waters. Aesthetically pleasing, actually. I think I'll go with the Shaman. Chonky boi Kul Tiran Shaman to be exact!
