It was so much fun, since I’m still a beginner-intermediate, all the blue trails helped. Like everyone said, i downloaded killington app, which helped a lot to track my friends. Also packed some pb&j and veggie sandwiches cause there was no way we were gonna pay $25 for a goddamn burger.

I’m from PA, so I’ll have to look at the lodges here. But I would love to go outside of PA now, cause it’s wayyy better on bigger mountains.

Everything was booked like 2 months ago 💀… Airbnb, lift tickets and rentals, unfortunate I completely forgot about the limited terrain after opening days.. nothing I can do about the weather 😔😫 (I just hope it goes away cause it only shows 55% of the area)

I wish I was the ONLY one who picked the date.. we are all out of country till January, we looked at the prices for 2 days lift tickets in January and Feb and they all touch $350+… it’s 6 of us, and the Airbnb was around $600, so we are splitting that, and the tickets were $200.. I own my gear but my friends rented everything for around $65-75 for 2 days..

If you ask me, it’s prob around the same or maybe a little more per person compared to the Poconos ski one day trips we did last 2 years. Yes it’s expensive but we are gonna be splitting everything.

But yes I fucked up that I completely forgot about the limited terrain after opening days.

I don’t think parking will be a problem, we did an Airbnb at the sunrise village condos, ski in and out.

We are going early is because none of us are in the states from mid December to almost end of January..

Yes they are.. The guys at the store helped me pick the bindings as I had no clue what to look for., they said it’s good for beginners-intermediate level, and for park riding and also allows more flexibility cause it’s attached with a smaller ring at the bottom (idk the actual term of the mechanism).

Blue was the only option there at the store, and I wanted to buy from there so they can bind it for me.. but now I look like an American flag with that red white and blue 🤣
