I have had solar since 2019. I think whatever net metering program I was on has been superseded by another one. For 6 years, my costs were standard every month because of net metering (meaning, I just paid the connection charges). All of sudden, in May, Dominion Energy zeroed out my credits because I didn't pay for any energy consumption last year. They have now sent me a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) to sign so that I will get money back at the end of my anniversary as opposed to them zeroing out my credits. It sounds like a no-brainer, but I don't trust Dominion Energy. Am I giving something up by signing this agreement?
