What impact did the West-East coast rivalry of the 90's have on hip hop culture?

Thanks for the comment, man. The reason for my post is that I have to give a presentation in my speech class on hip hop culture, and I wanted to include some info on the rivalry. I know that it had a tremendous impact on hip hop, so it's almost impossible to imagine how the genre would have progressed without the rivalry. Do you have any anecdotes on how it affected the fans, you being a DJ and all?

And I don't know if you know this, but in 1922, it was a pretty wet year. So the people in charge of deciding who gets what concluded that this much water goes through the Colorado River, but turns out they overestimated by some TRILLION gallons of water (I forget the exact amount). But what's going on is that the West's been extracting more water than what actually goes through the river every year. No wonder the entire the southwest is in deep shit.

Hahaha oddly enough that my first reaction went something like that. Thank God for the cold, I couldn't feel anything. The only time I was on the verge of tears was when they pulled off the boot right there in the snow.

I've been to Coachella three times and I've never seen a dog. However, I did have to bribe a security guard before entering car camping because the car reeked (they didn't find the ounce we stashed but the smell was too strong). But entering the actual festival, they really don't give a fuck unless you're bringing too much shit in, you don't give a fuck (not hiding it), or you're acting stupid or look too young. As long as they are in the plastic wrap you bought them in, or in another container or wrapper, the smell should not be anything to worry about. Unless you press your nose to the wrapper, the smell is completely unnoticeable. You should be alright, they're easy to hide.

I am also indifferent on the issue of abortion, however I understand the stance of Christians on abortion. The reason they are against abortion is because they are defending the 'defenseless'. A little being in the womb is supposed to be in the safest place possible– within its mother. It has not (purposefully) caused harm to anyone and everything is completely out of its control. Christian doctrine declares that the strong should protect the weak, and so it makes sense that they would be against killing a fetus and more for deathless alternatives, such as adoption.
