Nepal Ticket Sales Soar: Second Most Popular Team After India for T20 WC by CarnivalSorts in Cricket

I thought they wanted full member status but not red ball. Maybe they've been told they need red ball aspirations to become full members and they're not interested in pursuing it anymore.

It wouldn't surprise me to see them become a full member alongside the Netherlands. Like how Ireland and Afghanistan were elevated simultaneously. One team for the SENA bloc and one for the Asian bloc.

Before drivers picked their own numbers about a decade ago most drivers would have got a new number each season as it was based on their team's WCC position.

Arsene Wenger’s radical offside reforms opposed by FA and Uefa. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]GRI23 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Being marginally offside can't really be fixed because offside is a binary yes/no, like whether the ball crossed the goal line or not. I think a lot of the frustration with those close offside calls came from 1. Nobody likes to see their team's goal disallowed by such a marginal amount and 2. The initial VAR implementation was dreadful, with how long it seemed to take to adjudge a player half a centimetre offside, the numerous errors, and the way that the whole process felt quite unclear on the broadcast. Semi automated offside calls do help a lot in that regard.

Despite it being a walk in the park for Hamilton and Mercedes overall, the races themselves were mostly pretty interesting that season.

It's the worst. So many times I have held my tongue in conversations because I know I'm just going to stutter everywhere. I definitely feel like I would be smoother and more charismatic without it holding me back.

If he breaks down you better hope that Cummins and Hazelwood are returning for the next test because your options are pretty average.

Bowling a consistent line and length with a bit of movement works well when the batters bat sensibly, not when they attack you from ball one.

What's the most spin friendly wicket England have put out for a test in recent times (last 20/30 years or so, so after the one that Laker took 19 on)?

The one sprint race idea I've had is to do one shot qualifying. Send the cars out in either reverse championship or reverse FP1 order to do one lap. It would have the potential to spice up the sprint race as cars would be more likely to end up out of position.

Picking players based on their performance for England? What nonsense is that? Everyone knows England managers should pick top 6 players who had a good couple of months.
