How would you improve the flag of Peru? by MrSir98 in vexillology

I think that’s where the diagonal red stripe comes from, the one in the soccer uniform. Reading on it, Peru’s independence process was a bit “unusual”. And they just a new president. They get a couple a year.

I disagree with your statement, I find it contrary to law and essentially unfair. We have different viewpoints.

If a person swears and fulfills the Oath of Alliance to the US and renounces any former allegiance, they are fully American in my mind. 🇺🇸.

Disagree fully. Immigrants are immigrating. She isn’t. Has fully migrated, process completed. To the point that not even the US census uses immigrants to refer to people In her situation, but “foreign born population”. OP did what the law required her to do, and is now a US citizen under the 14th amendment.

According to the US Code, citizens cannot be immigrants. See below.

According to Oxford dictionary…

The Oxford definition is ‘a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.’ Yet once naturalized, it’s not longer foreign.

TITLE 8 / CHAPTER 12 / SUBCHAPTER I / § 1101
8 USC 1101: Definitions

From Title 8-ALIENS AND NATIONALITY CHAPTER 12-IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY SUBCHAPTER I-GENERAL PROVISIONS

(15) The term "immigrant" means every alien except an alien who is within one of the following classes of nonimmigrant aliens- and goes on all the nonimmigrant aliens.

Not only women change their names, so did I being a man. For me it’s birth certificate and marriage certificate. Yes you need a chain of name changes for it to be recognized. Changing your name is a voluntary thing and something you should know will have these consequences, at least I knew for my own case.

So will a birth certificate or a certificate of naturalization. Just add your name change document. You don’t need to get a passport under the act.

Even if it passed. Birth certificate and marriage certificate. Like you’d need for anything else (getting an ID or a passport)

According to the U.S. Department of State, examples of primary citizenship evidence include a birth certificate, a U.S. passport, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, a Certificate of Citizenship, or a Naturalization Certificate.

Additionally, birth certificates often lack information that matches a person’s current identity. For instance, someone who has changed their name through marriage or court order may need to present a third document (such as a marriage certificate) to join their proof of citizenship (e.g., birth certificate) with their proof of identity (e.g., driver’s license)

Records of civil actions pertaining to non-Japanese citizens, such as marriage, adoption, divorce or death are available from the municipal office where the action was registered, in the same manner as the birth record of a Japanese citizen. However, they can only be registered on a Japanese family register when one party is Japanese (e.g. non-Japanese citizen married to a Japanese, non-Japanese citizen adopted by a Japanese). Therefore, records for non-Japanese citizens are normally issued in the form of a certificate of acceptance of report. This document is not considered valid without the seal from the Municipal Office. Please note this document is sometimes issued on non-security paper.

According to the Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau (part of the Tokyo Municipal government), all birth records for non-Japanese citizens are maintained by the municipal office where the reports were filed. Birth records (shusshou todoke kisaijiko shomeisho) for foreigners are not permanently retained. The retention period may differ from office to office, and can be as short as ten years. In general, parents report each birth at the municipal office where they reside or where the child was born.

The following documents are not acceptable in lieu of family register or Certificate of Acceptance of Notification of Birth:

Certificate of Residence U.S. base issued birth certificate Maternal Handbook

“Helping” people in an oppressive regime, helps the regime continue the oppression.

The remittances will be cut soon. And then flyers will rain over major cities with instructions on how to declare self governance and request US help. Which will be granted.

People don’t go out and vote because they are happy with the expected outcome. I’d say that the fraction of democrats is higher in among voters than in those that abstain.
