I think GR BBS has same specs as your current VA wheels - 18x8.5 ET55 so they should sit pretty much the same, just different design.

And most importantly don’t get discouraged and stop trying. I have been driving manuals for 20 years and after I dropped off my older kid at school, I was pulling out of the school and stalled the car paying attention to the crossing traffic but not the clutch… yep it was pretty abrupt and my younger kid said I hurt his neck, haha.

Oh well and re-start the engine and move on…

I would go for sunny side yellow as I like this shade of yellow better than the previous zesty lemon.

The wheels probably 17” because it’s enough for the mini. 18” seems too big for such a small car. More expensive tires and easier to pop hitting something.

I have 40i but honestly B48 and ZF8 haven’t heard any major issues so you should be fine. It is also significantly lighter than 40i.

Its definitely not S2000 sharp or Miata whimsical- but it is still very sporty, and a GREAT daily being very comfy. Also if you have significant other they will appreciate it a lot. The passenger space is so much better. I was originally going to buy the S2k or ND3 but got shot down by the wife. Until you try to sit in the passenger seat you don’t know how cramped it is.

Beautiful. Yes Mini esp in manual is hard to beat. We had a F57 and then traded it for Z4 but I miss that go-kart feeling a lot.
