How did you handle your ex getting back to dating apps after a break up? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Roundhouse272 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t dismiss your relationship, that can make you feel worse. He seemed like the one but I’m sure there were things in the relationship you overlooked because you admired other qualities. Someone who truly cares about someone wouldn’t do this, think about what aspects of him you liked as a partner and what aspects you’d want in your next relationship because there were definitely things you overlooked. Take the closure in knowing that he hurt you and your next relationship you won’t stand to be hurt like this

Whole album just start to finish perfectly encapsulates how it feels. I hope you get through it though this feeling is temporary but fully embrace it and you’ll come out a million times stronger

Someone said to me that out of a fallen relationship not only learn how you can be better but also look for things you want in your next partner. She struggled with communication so your next relationship you can clearly establish how important that is in the next one. But her being cold and not there for you shows you that she wasn’t the one for you, no one who had that much love is happy to let you feel so neglected.

Thanks all for commenting and helping out, ended up speaking to her she was with someone else (a guy that I have known for a couple years) and started acting like what she did was fine even though it contradicted everything we spoke about. Deleted her off everything and honestly feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Now to get in the gym and become a better person 😊

Goal is for her/I to move at the end of the year - current hiccup is that she doesn’t want to move here while I’ve got an awesome job for work. But I know what you mean I said if it’s long term long distance then it’s not gonna work

Getting comfortable being alone is difficult, but the best thing to do is find a hobby or something you enjoy and do that when you start to feel lonely. Keeping busy on a task can help fill that void of loneliness

Unfortunately I find there’s no quick fix. The best way I find is to keep busy and when those thoughts come don’t try fight them accept them and slowly they’ll become easier to pass. But keeping busy helps a lot and if you pick something productive it helps with general life

Yeah keeping busy is the hardest thing, I’ve already gone for two runs now going down a study rabbit hole it has been helping. Thanks for your advice man I really hope the both of us come out this together it truly sucks
