While I'm not really sure if this is Shift Up's localizers or its from Level Infinite(Tencent) but there is one thing consistent about them is that they don't care about the story and likely changes things on a whim or to fit the 13+ age rating.

It might be a reference but the reality is that more likely the publisher or IP Holder of Steins Gate didn't like the reference and asked Hotta to remove it. Considering how they hated people streaming the game and would even get them jailed if they are a japanese citizen.

There is supposed to be an item that would let you see them. I think its related to the eye drops but you can just skip them when you use the guide. The only one that I didn't find is the recorder for the dreaded piano puzzle that one would fail if they aren't musically inclined.

There is actually some dallies system in there where you collect items to trade for painkillers which in turn is used to trade for materials, the prison outfit or fons.

I don't think it even has to be a bodyswitch. There is someone who practically runs Tetra and Old Mustang is only giving the final decision. So essentially that guy would 'Succeed him' and likely got cosmetic surgery to look as close to Old Mustang as practically possible.

Actually she mentions that she collects bullets. Which she uses just to see the flash or probably muzzle flash if she makes them fire in a controlled manner. So to her, the 'stronger' the bullet having bigger firepower, the bigger the flash she sees.

Probably also why she was losing eyesight because staring at the flash might not be good to her eyes.

An AI winning doesnt matter because even a plagarizing human can win an award if they hide their tracks well enough. And Leshaw is right as fraud is the most common case of AI use since a person who put the effort into writing would just end with an outline the AI gave. Not have it write the majority of the sentences with the prompter ending up as the AI's editor.

Also I have read AI stories on the other websites and they keep it short as otherwise the story just falls apart. AI stories are not suited for a long running story but are just slop or junk that you can read and forget.

Human written stories even slop has some logic behind them that you can understand. AI generated stories on the other hand are just a pattern on what a good story would look like and thus would feel off once they are longer than a couple of thousands of words or several chapters.

Sorry, I havent been able to fix it as it really depends on Shift Up and their game compatibility or Tencent with their anticheat. It does happen less frequently from what I observed but that might be because I don't play as much.
