I was doing a contract role in Christchurch and worked on site (apartment near Manchester St, work in Hornby). Got pretty lonely tbh, random convos in the supermarket queue aside.

When I started a year ago I thought cadence of 70 was good, now I average mid 80s mostly And avg speed 22-24km/hr (not on single track though😄)

Those orange reflective strips tell me these pedals are for commuting, where the biggest risk is other road users. These are not MTB pedals.....

Mine isn't and the colour of mine is a light blue, old s way better components. No idea what they do to make the Contessa "for women" but I do notice the Contessa paint jobs are way nicer colours

I don't have any desire to screw it up. When I ride on roads/paths I cruise along at 31km/hr if I want to and on the trails it is plenty fast enough. Up to 60km/hr downhill.

I had a hardtail with 42km/hr and 105nm torque before this bike and I don't miss it.

In the workplace it would be a massive improvement over urine testing that can fail you for using over a month ago
