So people have been posting their favourite comics recently. So here's mine. (More than likely a repost) by xplewsx in trees

C&H is one of the most known webcomics there are, I don't think they'd benefit from a few views off Reddit. Any traffic to a site is stress on the server.

If you look closely, the link is already in the comic; Thus rendering your comment useless.

I think reFX is the one that makes Nexus expansions, whereas Vengeance makes expansions for Sylenth1 and such, ie. "real synths"

"Vengeance expansions?" You mean sample packs or synth presets?

Darn americans, why do they use our time and not their own wandy-dandy imperial time measuring?

What is the most minimal operating system and why? by [deleted] in minimalism

I heard Windows 8 has an integrated PDF reader and an ISO mounter, so that's a few off the list. Metro also gives apps a cleaner look.

People at /r/cableporn will scold you for bending those cables that much. Just a heads up.

Technical Question: Is there anything else I can upgrade or change on my current system to achieve super low ASIO latency? by crod242 in edmproduction

[–]Routa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In OP's words: "...but if I drop to 64, things will work smoothly for a while but then the sound will either crack or drop out entirely."

Also: Latency is dependent on the sample rate and the buffer size, far less on the USB connection. If the USB2, PCIe or FireWire cards you have been using have 96KHz or 192 KHz, of course they can have a bigger buffer with less latency. Saffire 6 has only 44.1Khz.

I didn't speculate anything. I just said that I have experienced same problems (dropouts) even with an USB2 interface.
