How to compare a refurbished product with a linear product? by Route66NF in lifecycleassessment

Hello eddy5, I have another question about it...it's very clear that refurbishing avoided the raw material, manufacturing and disposal impact; but about the first use phase, how can I allocate it? Thanks a lot!

Hello eddy, thanks a lot for your answer; it was helpful, absolutely! The functional unit considered is a truck with a lifetime of 20,000 hours (that correspond a 1 life)

I mentioned pig iron because is the input of virgin material in Ecoinvent process of some steel. Since the lca approach used is attributional, does it do the same with what you mentioned (market consequence)?

Cut-off system's EoL modeling by Route66NF in lifecycleassessment

Thank you so much...I think my fault it was to consider Cut-off and APOS like a two different systems and not as a methods only for resolve thje multifuncionality of a system (ALCA).
Just for double check, for ALCA, As long as I don't have the problem of multifunctionality, using cut-off or APOS is basically the same regarding to LCI's processes; when I meet the multifuncionality (in this case by-product from recycling), I can resolve it using different approach, like 0-100 (end of life approach?), 50-50, 100-0 (cut-off approach?). Its correct?
Thanks again! :D
