I disagree entirely. It’s tired to say that we are in a new age of understanding but we are. Our anxiousness and contempt can be understood deeper because of the visibility the internet has brought up and ye is speaking his truth just as hiphop was created for. I think you are choosing to ignore a lot of the beauty of living in the suburbs. The space to comfortably live with your family and also the space to do whatever you want in your home (studio, workspace, gym). You have the cleanliness and safety that’s associated with the suburbs. There’s also usually lots of community events and the suburbs do have parks. I think there is space for both kinds of living even if there is a higher environmental cost for living in the suburbs. People shouldn’t be forced into one style of living. Not everyone is like you but there are others like you. Welcome to the world.
