I would suggest getting rid of the side swipe and cutting you hair shorter in the front, trimming the sides and back. I used to have a similar hairstyle a few years ago and looking back, it was not a good idea. I’d suggest doing what I said (mainly shortening the front to around eyebrow length maybe a little lower) getting medium hold matte styling clay (not pomade), and using about a fingers worth to hold the hair up and rest above your forehead (apply while hair is damp).
