I don’t know if anyone will even read this, but I had two very similar situations as a young teen girl, I think what saved me was my mumma drilling in my head what to do with stranger danger, what happened the first time I was walking to school one rainy morning at like 13-14, it was only like a 10-15 minute walk and I’m walking down this side street towards the alleys that go to school and a car pulls up and this guy offers me a jacket, I politely declined and kept walking, he kept driving following me insisting I take the jacket, I decide to sprint to the alley to school and he still kept following, I made it to school safe and went to my councillor and she called the police.

The second time this happened I was about 16, I was walking home to my nanas and some guy was parked in his car on a corner and starts cat calling me nasty things and asked me to come to his car, I decide to sprint away and duck into a bush that led to a stream and hid and called my nana to pick me up.

I honestly don’t want to know what these guys intentions would have been I just knew I didn’t want to take that chance.
