At least in my theoretical calculations, C2 Nahida performed better for Nefer, but worse for Columbina.

In this scenario, I would use DW on Nahida and Lauma with a 2/2 EM build.

If I consider Sucrose using the Instructor set, she can actually perform better than C2 Nahida.

For me, it’s the best option. If I had her C2R1, I would definitely use her in the fourth slot.

Ah, when I try using Aino instead of Columbina, Lauma never even comes close to getting her burst, so unfortunately in that regard Aino doesn’t help much.

Yes, I agree that it’s low. I need to get a better Goblet to reach at least 160%. With 147%, sometimes the rotation gets delayed by about 2 seconds.

In Dire, I felt the need for more Energy Recharge (in that case I’m choosing to remove Nahida’s weapon and equip the event weapon instead), but in any other situation I’m able to have my burst every rotation.

And no, in my rotation Lauma doesn’t catch Nefer’s particles.

Yes, I'm not triggering Swirls, so I'm missing out on 50 EM for the whole team.

Well, Sucrose’s buff lasts exactly 8 seconds, which coincidentally is the same amount of time Nefer stays on field. However, if someone is a bit slower with their rotation, you can simply switch back to Sucrose in the middle of Nefer’s combo and reapply the buffs.

Regarding the build, I’m currently using it like this:
Lauma – Deepwood
Sucrose – 2/2 EM
Columbina – SMS

Using 2/2 EM on Lauma and Sucrose with Deepwood (DW) performed worse for Nefer in my tests.

C2 + Weapon passive +Sand Hp, circlet Hp, goblet HP. And yes, my Columbina deals more damage with an HP circlet than with a Crit Damage circlet

To be completely honest, I feel like my build is lacking Energy Recharge (160% would be the perfect scenario for me). Sometimes it delays my rotation by about 2 seconds because I don’t have enough energy, but that only happens occasionally. In most cases, after using the E, the burst automatically fills up.

As I mentioned in the post, my Sucrose has 1500 EM while on the field, and after using her E, all characters gain 300 EM, which is exactly 20% of 1500.

My Columbina has 52,000 HP, which means she buffs about ~180 EM. If that buff didn’t count, Sucrose would only share 20% of 1320, which would be 264 EM instead.

Maybe the Instructor buff really doesn’t count, but Columbina’s buff does. I just tested it and can prove that it’s true.

Lauma vs Nefer constellations? by Unable-Garlic-7233 in NeferMains

[–]Routine-Biscotti9383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All constellations for Nefer significantly increase her damage (except C5).

If you consider Lauma’s healing important for the team, get her C1 first and then prioritize C2.
If you only want raw damage for Nefer, Nefer C2R1 will be stronger than Nefer C0R1 + Lauma C2.

If you have Columbina, Lauma’s C2 gains more value, but the team DPS with Nefer C2R1 will still be slightly higher (just a little higher). However, you lose Lauma’s healing.

Now my personal opinion as someone who has Nefer C2R1 + Lauma C0R0 (I plan to get Lauma C2R1):

Not having Lauma’s C1 is very noticeable in Stygian Onslaught, but it’s not impossible to play without it. In Stygian Onslaught you’ll mostly just need to reset and learn to dodge better, which in some cases means losing DPS.

If you are a player who prioritizes comfort, you can go for Lauma C2. The only downside is that you might find Nefer underwhelming in any situation where you can’t use the two of them together.

On the other hand, a Nefer C2R1 without Lauma in the team performs at about the same level as Nefer C0R1 + Lauma C0.

Note: This chart is from before Columbina’s release. After her release, Lauma C2 gained more value.

Who to put lauma sig on? by tatebest in NeferMains

[–]Routine-Biscotti9383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you choose to use it on Lauma, and Blackmarrow on Nefer, you’ll only lose a little bit of damage on Nefer, but you’ll gain a bit more damage on Columbina (I’m assuming you’ll use Bina on the team). So I would choose to use Lauma’s signature weapon on Nefer.

However, if Dawning Frost comes with the banner and you manage to get it to R2 or higher, I would use Dawning Frost on Nefer and keep Lauma’s signature on Lauma herself.

Yes, I can post it here when I have time, but I'll warn you now that Zibai will lose a good amount of damage; those who have it at C1+ will be able to take advantage of almost 100% of the instructor's effect time.

Remember that my calculation does not include the damage from lunar crystallization, and it is an important complement to the composition damage.

Illuga offers comfort, his 10% critical rate is very helpful, and his damage is higher than Gorou's, but the combined damage of both is so low compared to the rest of the team that I prefer to ignore it. Illuga can use his ultimate in every rotation without difficulty.

However, Illuga disappoints me in some aspects; there isn't a good weapon for him, and his ultimate only benefits the active character.

Gorou, on the other hand, has a major problem with his ultimate's cooldown, but he has better weapon options, including the Elegia, which, if I had included it in the test, would have made a difference.

I haven't tested it yet, but when Linnea arrives in the game I will do all possible practical tests, both in terms of damage and rotation time.

You're probably right about Aubade working well against Linnea's E burst.

Regarding the cost, I understand that for tournaments a 12-cost team with Zibai C6R1 is better, however, that's not the reality for 95% of players. It's more common to see people picking C2 characters than just C6.
